INERT GAS SYSTEMS
Inert Gas systems offer the most flexible approach to fire suppression, and are best suited to large applications.
The properties of the extinguishing agents (IG-01, IG-100, IG-55 and IG-541) together with the high storage pressures of the cylinders (typically 200 & 300 bar), allow multiple enclosures to be protected by a single set of inert gas cylinders.
Directional valves are used to control the release of the inert gas system to the correct enclosure, which can often be located up to 100-metres away from the cylinder set.

CARBON DIOXIDE SYSTEMS
CO2 systems are best suited to the protection of unmanned enclosures, where the safety of personnel is not a concern.
Whilst other gaseous systems require a high standard of "room integrity" to retain the extinguishant within the protected enclosure. CO2 systems can protect equipment that is not enclosed by a permanent boundry, or where it is not possible to completely seal the protected enclosure.
